Northern INK Community Workshop
Northern INK started simply: a few writers sharing work, giving feedback, and encouraging each other to keep going.
That spirit still lives in our private Facebook workshop, where members can share writing, receive critique, take part in prompts and small contests, and get a closer look at some of the work happening behind Northern INK Publishing.
The workshop is open to writers at different stages, and membership does not affect selection for our anthologies, contests, or publishing projects. Public submissions are judged on the work itself.
We open public recruitment periods throughout the year, but writers interested in joining can also contact our editor at any time.
For now, the workshop remains on Facebook, where Northern INK began. We may eventually grow into other platforms, but accessibility still matters to us.
A writing community should be easy to enter, useful once you're there, and serious about the work.

Northern INK offers free consultation for Canadian writers who need help understanding their options and choosing a sensible next step.
For now, this is an advice-only offering. Our editor is currently supervising and guiding three active book projects, so Northern INK is not yet accepting paid work for editing, formatting, publishing, or hands-on project development.
